Your Experience
Nothing quite compares to the serenity of ballooning. Gaze down over the fields, hedgerows and villages, dappled in soft evening sunlight or tranquil early morning light. Bask in the magical silence as you float high above the ground and then drop low enough to skim the hedgerows and treetops. It's a perfect way to take fabulous pictures - and a treat to remember for many years.
Your hot air balloon will take off just after sunrise or just before sunset (whichever you prefer), as these are the most serene, calm times of day. After a briefing from your pilot, the balloon is inflated (you can help if you wish!) and you and your fellow passengers will climb aboard for an hour's magical flight over the beautiful countryside. After landing everyone helps to pack the balloon away and then you, your pilot and crew are all returned to the launch site. This will be a flight to remember!
When Can You Go?
Hot air balloon flights are available every day of the week. Not all venues offer morning flights, The best weather conditions for flying are usually between April and October
How Long Does This Activity Last?
Your adventure will last about 3 to 4 hours in total and you'll be up in the balloon for 1 hour
You Need To Know
The minimum age is generally 16 years (10-16 year olds must be accompanied by a participating adult) Minimum height is 1.23m (4ft), maximum weight 114kg (18 stone). The flight is not suitable for those who are pregnant, suffer from epilepsy, or who have some heart or medical conditions. Reasonable agility is required to get into the basket. No previous experience or qualifications are required to take part in this activity.
